Environmentally Safe Poly Lumber
JDM's poly lumber starts with post-consumer milk bottles that are collected from community recycling programs. Bottles are ground to flakes, washed, dried and turned into pellets. These pellets are then melted, colored and shaped into poly lumber!
Furniture Care & Maintenance
Poly furniture is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recycled plastic that will never need to be painted or stained.
It will not rot or splinter, and it contains an added UV protective agent to resist fading. Poly furniture is not affected by most corrosive substances and will not promote bacterial growth.
To maintain the beauty of your furniture, clean it regularly with soap and water. Use only nonabrasive soaps. Do not place flowerpots or any items on furniture that will leave stains. Do not place hot items directly onto furniture to avoid melting. All hardware is stainless steel and virtually maintenance free under normal conditions. However, in coastal areas, hardware will need regular rinsing with fresh water to eliminate rusting.
If you properly care for your fine piece of poly furniture, you will be able to relax in it for many years!

Upholstery Care & Cleaning
The best way to keep fabrics looking good as new is to brush off dirt and debris before it becomes embedded in the fabric. Be sure to clean up messes as soon as they occur - the quicker you clean up spills, the easier they will be to remove. To clean your upholstery, use mild soap and water with a soft bristle brush, allowing the solution to soak into the fabric before rinsing thoroughly and air drying.
